Company Headshots

Company Headshots

In soccer, growing up, we always got team photos. Every year a professional photographer would come out, take pictures of us on our own and take pictures of the whole team together. I never really got the point of this except to give our mother’s another cute picture of us as a child. I mean those red uniforms were pretty dang cute even if I had now athletic skill.

Company photos, on the other hand, are a little bit different. While these photos are for your mom (at least not explicitly), they do serve a purpose. The idea behind company headshots and a team photo is to provide another way to connect with your ideal customer and build some trust with them. It’s always nice to know who is working behind the scenes or who you could be working with.

Whole Health Club is the perfect example of this. This vegan gym with a kitchen is a different kind of business model. The Whole Health Club team wants to teach their clients how to be healthy from how they move their body to what they put in their body, and they’ll walk them through every step of the way.

Going to the gym is frightening and going to a new gym is a whole new level of scary. There are a lot of personal reasons to go to (or avoid) the gym, because of that The Whole Health Club team wanted to find one more way to connect with their clients and show them that they don’t bite. Their only goal is to help you achieve your goals and to feel good doing it. To do that, they brought in the big guns (see what I did there?)

After getting to know the team by taking yoga classes there myself, I was able to connect with them and capture their personalities. From headshots to team shots to bulldog shots (he’s part of the team too), we created a story around them. The strength and teamwork behind this gym, the personalities that make it up and the bulldog mascot you might see running around, are all aspects of who this brand is.

Team photos on your social media and website are a great touch to introduce yourself. Dedicate social posts to an individual and tell us the fun facts about this person or why they love doing this job. On the website be sure to give their history and show their credentials but don’t forget to include something personal to build that connection.

Whole Health Club now has one more way to make a connection with their clients and show them why their gym is different from the competition. They can start building trust with new gym members before they even step foot in the door and that’s all from having high-quality photos of the team.

If you want to increase your connection with your potential clients, show off the amazing team you’ve built and add some personality to your online presence, then it’s probably time for you to schedule your team headshots. Get professional headshots with a lot of character, whether their serious and formal or meant to make your customers laugh. I promise this is one investment you won’t regret making.
