How do you build the brand of your dreams when you’re not entirely sure how to get there? That’s where a brand strategist comes in. Think of me as a coach for your marketing (and maybe even your mindset). A brand strategist is your guide to an intentional brand. We help you take apart your brand, get clear in who you are and whom you serve, and build something that lasts. Through analysis, insights into the marketing world, and an understanding of creating a cohesive brand–from voice to look– you’ll build a strategy that will help you get from here, to the brand you’ve been dreaming about for years.

Skills of a brand strategist

Every brand strategist is a little bit different, just like flowers in a field or snowflakes falling from the sky. For me, my background comes with a variety of skills that will help you see your brand a little bit differently.

It all started a long long time ago in a galaxy far far away. Okay, so it was that long or that far ago. But it did start as a child. Art and design were in my blood. Every career I thought about starting (Aside from being an elephant) involved designing–Interior designer, fashion designer, artist, graphic designer. I went to school for Fine art and political science and landed a job in two different newspapers as an ad designer. This was my first time getting to learn the ins and outs of marketing and how to tell a story visually. After 4-years working for newspapers I slowly moved into marketing, starting out as a social media manager until I worked my way up to the Marketing Director of a large-scale yoga studio in Denver. Along the way I also started my own side business of brand photography, telling stories through images so that brands would have high-quality powerful images to use in their marketing.

Photography, design, marketing, these are all things I’ve learned over the years and now use to help the brands I work create strategies that connect with their audiences and build lifelong customers.

What to Expect

Hiring any consultant can be nerve-wracking for any business owner, and the same is true when it comes to hiring a brand strategist like me. Here’s what it will look like when we work together.

It all starts with a 30-minute free call to get to know each other and for me to add any value I can upfront. Our journey can simply stop there. But if you find value and want more for your brand then the next step is to sign up for my 1:1 strategy packages. In these packages, you’ll get an allotted number of 60-minute sessions with me where we can go through your marketing, strategize over who you are and whom you serve, learn new tactics for your social, email, and website, or review any questions you’ve had burning inside of you. These sessions are completely yours to ask questions, get tutorials, and dig deep to find new ways to connect with your audience. Outside of our calls, you’ll also have access to me via email to ask any questions that come up so I can continue to support you as you make changes to your brand.

How Much Does a Brand Strategist Cost?

My goal as a brand strategist is to be approachable for small brands. With that being said I have a variety of pricing options to meet your needs. If you’re just starting out and on a super tight budget my online course, Brand Clarity, is a great place to start for just $59. If you’re wanting more attention I offer 1:1 Brand Strategy sessions that include 1-off 60-minute calls as well as 3-month to 6-month packages depending on what exactly you want help on in your brand.

The number one thing I do for brands provides confidence in the business you’re building.
